Board of Directors

Chairperson: Kevin Dowling

Kevin Dowling serves as the secretary on the Community Seven board of directors. A graduate of the University of Maryland in political science, he is the Communications Director for the Western Organization of Resource Councils.

Vice Chairman: Lisa Posada-Griffin

Lisa Posada-Griffin has been the Communication/Marketing Coordinator for the Billings Police Department since 2006. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rocky Mountain College in 2000 with a double major of Communication Studies and Sociology, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Ms. Posada also served as the Yellowstone County DUI Task Force Coordinator from 2002-2008. She has served on several boards in the Billings community and is a part time instructor at Rocky Mountain College.

Secretary/Treasurer: Oscar Heinrich

Board Member: "Major" Dan Miller

"Major" Dan Miller is a semi-retired radio personality, a virtual icon in Billings radio for more than 50 years. Dan has managed Billings radio stations, headed advertising sales and promotions, and served as program director. Anyone growing up in Billings listened to "Major" Dan Miller during morning drive for some 28 years at KOOK radio. Dan has been married over 50 years with three children and four grandchildren. See "Miller Gold" on Community 7 Friday nights at 8 and 10 and Saturday at 10 pm. He still does mornings at K-Bear, 97.1 Saturdays from 6 until noon.

Board Member: Bill Kennedy

Bill Kennedy was born and raised in Billings, Montana. He and his wife Mary have two daughters, Annie and Erin and son-in-law John Early. Bill graduated from Billings West High School. He completed his undergraduate degree in Secondary Education at MSU - Bozeman, and received his Masters Degree in Personnel & Guidance from Eastern Montana College. Bill holds an administrative endorsement from MSU-Bozeman.

He has served as Yellowstone County Commissioner since 1993. He was elected in 1992 for a 2-year term, re-elected in 1994, 2000 and 2006 for 6-year terms each. Prior to being elected County Commissioner, Bill taught 7th & 8th grades in Colstrip for three years, and returned to Billings to teach K-8 grades at Billings Catholic Schools for four years. He was Parish Administrator for St. Thomas Church for 1-½ years before becoming the Director of the Even Start Family Literacy Program for School District 2.
